Amoteamo - o nas  

Amoteamo is a small Boxer kennel in Slovenia. Our Boxers lead a high quality life and  enjoy their lives on an everyday basis. Amoteamo Boxers live in a family environment having free access to the house and are truly family members. They  are carefully socialized as puppies, always have our attention, endless love and best care possible. Our Boxers are house-trained and well-behaved, each one has its own personality, which is respected and dealt with separately.

We start educating our Boxers as soon as they come into our families and at the proper age we start training them in tracking, obedience and protection through the IPO program.

They are walked 3 times a day (in the morning, early afternoon and before dark) they are all in excellent condition and have the treat of travelling with us on weekend trips into the countryside and sometimes on holidays.

Amoteamo Boxers are vaccinated yearly against rabbies and infectious diseases; they have regular checkups at our veterinarian, and before being used for breeding they are health tested.

They eat twice a day only top quality dog food (no artificial colouring or preservatives)  with additives of chicken, turkey and beef, fish, vegetables, eggs and fermented milk products.

We show them occasionally, trying to choose judges who are specialists in the Boxer breed. For us dog shows are a way of having fun with our Boxers and a way of meeting and hanging out with other Boxer owners and fanciers.

We do not use boxes and never fence our Boxers. Dog crates are used only while travelling long distances and sometimes at dog shows.

Amoteamo Boxers have FCI pedigrees. They all have ancestors who are famous for their outstanding beauty, elegance, temperament and working abilities. Our dogs have been carefully choosen according to their looks (fenotype), their pedigrees (genotype), their health, and working potential.

Our females are mated once they are fully mature. We do not breed bitches until they are at least 18 months old!!! Pedigree combinations are carefully planed and studied for months in order to get healthy, good-tempered and beautiful Boxer puppies, who will fit best the FCI Boxer standard and will grow into dogs we will be proud of. We stay in touch with the owners of Amoteamo puppies, and whenever needed we give them advice and help them. We carefully watch the progress of Amoteamo puppies and accompany them throughout their happy lives.

Amoteamo Boxers are our companions for life, our inspiration and our favourites forever.
